CENTRAL OKANAGAN HOMESTAY PROGRAM

The Central Okanagan International Education Homestay Team promotes and supports the best possible homestay experience for middle and secondary international students attending schools in our district. Every year, approximately 300 host families open their homes to international students.

Our homestay coordinators place students with host families who provide a safe, nurturing home for their study abroad experience. Our program takes great care to treat all students and host families as unique, and to offer support to students and host families in regards to all aspects of life in Canada, and ensures that students have a rewarding experience while learning about other cultures.

We hope that our program will help to create relationships between host families and students that will last a lifetime.
